IVIV and Entropy

I wonder, at this phase of his life, given the way that IV seems to
reach back to his other novels, if Pynchon might also allude or refer
to his stories. And, given the way he criticizes his early work in
the Slow Learner introduction, I wonder if in IV he has alluded or
referred to his stories in a way that might reflect his later
judgments of them, in the way that he presents these allusions in the
IV text. I expect to be surprised, at some future moment, to learn
that IV does not point us back to all of his published works in a way
that illuminates the important things that Pynchon has been trying to
do in his work.
