No, seriously, great post. I do believe that the author has already  
pointed out the Inherent Vice of Polaroids, how they all eventually  
fade out in time, how more light eventually destroys them. There is  
quite a bit that's surreal and forever lost to the time it was  
conceived in Inherent Vice.
