Zome houses

The word "zome" was coined in 1968 by Steve Durkee, now known as  
Nooruddeen Durkee, combining the words "dome" and "zonahedron."

Some friends built one up in the hills here and my late hubby built a  
kid-house but we were using the term "geodesic dome,"  an invention of  
Buckminster Fuller.  I'm not sure what the difference is.   Google the  
images for geodesic dome for lots of photos.
