The Night Porter is *very* Pynchonesque. Great film.
Also Possession (1981) by Andrzej Zulawski
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082933/
Arthouse horror/sci fi/relationship drama with strong subtexts
regarding European post-war politics. Like Polanski directing a Clive
Barker novel.
Actually Polanski's Cul de Sac (1966) is quite Pynchonian in its
playing out of perverse relationships as power struggles. Very funny
flick too.
