Film adaptation of Vonnegut's Mother Night, and Slaughterhouse 5 for
that matter. But more the wyrd Nazi plotting/spoofing in Mother Night.

For some reason I think of Jacques Tati's Playtime, esp. the
bourgeoisie revellers rollicking and wrecking the hotel bar, the
general absurd modernity thang... a-and let me add Bunuel's Discreet
Charm of the Bourgeoisie... left wandering through the Zone in the
end.
