Or thereabouts. I tried to schedule ca. 20 pages a week, at any rate.
Not taht i don't think the book deserves in depth coverage, but I
also think it deserves not to have us get bogged down in it upon first
consideration. Me, as you all know, I typically have difficulty even
covering the first few pages of any given section under consideration
in the couple of weeks we've generally given any groupread segment,
plus I as often as not extend that couple of weeks to a couple/three
(and not just weeks, so ....). I realize some may still think I
jumped the gun here, but (a) the those with initiative has
traditionally gone the scheduling here, and (2) I can't imagine it's
all too difficult for anyoen to catch up (hope I'm right on that,
Clement, and all apologies if otherwise), plus (iii) we're of course
understanably and rightly fluidin our sense of time here anyway,
regularly shuttling back and forth within, between, even outside,
beyond, in spite of, whatever, novels here, so ...
So i think things are going swimmingly (whatever that might mean ...),
and here's to hoping that won't involve the bends and/or drowning down
the line ...
