Two great traditions came out of post-WWII RAND with military 
funding: Operations Research and Game Theory.  Both are now 
discredited to a large extent. Reet will not be replaced by Expert 
Systems which was sold to the military and turned into the AI fad of 
the late 80s.  It did not fulfill its marketing.  Game Theory turned 
into wargaming in the bowels of the Pentagon and doesn't much 
resemble the paranoid math of John Nash.  It's deadlier.  We are 
definitely in GR's continuing corporatized science.
