Helter Skelter

As Ian MacDonald points out, in 'Revolution in the Head', Volume 3 of
the bloated Anthology series included an edit from one of the long
takes of Helter Skelter (a song which MacDonald hates, by the way).
His full entry on 'Helter Skelter' is fascinating and provocative
reading. Get the book:

Here's his footnote on the Helter Skelter outtake:
"The edited excerpt from one of these [long takes of Hekter Skelter]
provided on Anthology 3 ludicrously fades just as the group are
beginning to improvise."
I know I've said it a million times, but it's worth repeating: every
Beatles fan *needs* a copy of this book.
Cheers
