There's a line towards the end of the interview that's very "P"—dates  
are scrambled along with memories as Phil Proctor talks about how the  
record industry grew around the Firesign Theater, how relations  
between stars like the Stones were twined with clowns like Phil  
Proctor and how it all blew up when Manson oozed into the scene. In  
the process, time and space get scrambled—Goat's Head Soup (a Stones  
record where Phil Proctor was present at the creation) is from 1972  
while Manson wrecked the party in 1969.

Those who can remember the early seventies . . .
