but yet this is where they're at.
What Fausto, at the end, has to offer, is at least something -
potent enough to counter his inertia, and perhaps to ease her pain

Stencil rather than engaging in further political machinations is at
least exploring human connections from sheer interest, rather than any
ulterior motive

Mondaugen, well, a porcine guy gotta eat...

and Benny's poor selfimage, isn't it another word for humility, which
in another time might have led him to a cloistered life, unsuitable as
he seems for the World and its dealings: the influx of such humble
souls may eventually be the salvation of the World...
