Yeah, that's gonna work... not!  Welcome to politics 101:  The POTUS
doesn't control the budget or encact law.  It's a bad deal, but it had
to be made, and thankfully it's only for the next two years, by which
time the point can be made that extending the cuts for the rich didn't
work.

Sign the petition to ask Obama to do everything practical in his power
to keep things from going to hell in a handbasket on greased skids.
Oh yeah, he's already doing that without any support from the
impractical holier-than-thou lefter-than-thou Naderite-types, who
claim that Obama is no better than Bush was.  That sure helped in the
last election.

How can anyone who appreciates Pynchon not appreciate that a man's
gotta do what a man's gotta do to get the job done, and it's often
dirty and slow.
