Paul Thomas Anderson Wants to Adapt Thomas Pynchon's Inherent Vice

Here's my scoop for today - I was just talking to Paul Giamatti, who,
it transpires, is a Pynchon fan.

He's already instructed his agent to start sending the begging letters to PTA.

He has no idea what possible role he might take, but doesn't care. He wants in.

For what it's worth I think Michael Jai White would look great with a
frozen banana.
