but to deal directly with that notion:
yes, I think he is referring to that as part of the difference...
Yes, I think there is something about women's difference that has been
known to change a really nasty guy. Not that that's "her duty" or
something, but that the attraction isn't necessarily that "women
admire fascists because they're strong and think that's what they want
in a mate" but because unfettered male penetrating force-potential
calls to female receptive-potential, strength to strength, and
presents the possibility of a synthesis changing both...

(although personally I prefer a radically different style, not that
I'm holding myself up as any kind of great example - just noting that
imho it'd be nice if the ladies'd consistently pull a Lysistrata and
freeze that tendency right out of the genome, make love not war, girls
say yes to boys who say no - but noting that a somewhat different
dynamic does seem to apply to a plethora of real-world examples in my
experience -- or am I just getting ready to tend toward PBLCD myself?)

Yes, I think that moment when Frenesi is feeling slightly tender
toward BV, thinking he's asleep, and then realizes he's awake,
watching her with contempt - yes, I think that is Brock's tragic flaw
and his fate isn't so much Frenesi's revenge as a divine retribution
against the Eternal Feminine...
