Pynchon's Mythography: An Approach to Gravity's Rainbow

I think it is quite good....sensible....informed by a traditional literary
scholar's approach but rides not one theoretical hobbyhorse...in fact, might be described as pragmatically literary, I might say. 

I speedread it, I must say....wanting only the perspectives not all the near-closeness----which is nothing like the closeness we get here...
