Very post-structuralist I suppose. One hell of a lot of language to
state what Robin said earlier--that the major Arcana are a linear
progression from the Zero Fool onward to the World.
This business of individuation is a dirty job.
Of course no one here thinks Doc is on a hero's journey or thinks
that V, CoL49, GR and IV are all detective novels.
I'll continue to use tarot cards as bookmarks, picking at random and
checking the card for the kind of trip to be expected through the book.
