DOOMSDAY CLOCK ANNOUNCEMENT
Today the Doomsday Clock announcement will stream live at TurnBackTheClock.org

The event will take place at 10:00 AM EST/1500 GMT and will feature an
online question and answer session. News event speakers will include:

Lawrence Krauss, theoretical physicist and cosmologist, Arizona State
University, and co-chair, Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists' Board of
Sponsors; Stephen Schneider, environmental biologist, Stanford

Security Board;
Jayantha Dhanapala, president of Pugwash Conferences on Science and
World Affairs, chair of the 1995 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty
Conference, and member, Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists' Board of
Sponsors; Pervez Hoodbhoy, physicist, Quaid-i-Azam University in
Islamabad, and member, Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists' Board of
Sponsors; and Kennette Benedict, executive director, Bulletin of the
