Many bi-lingual--or tri-lingual?--Haitians say 'rubbles' online instead of 'rubble'...someone "trapped in the rubbles".....

That sounds so right to me, a unilingual tone-deaf American.....and it reminds me, in my Private Kute Pynchon Korrespondences, of the "cobblestones" over against the beach..............
