IVIV20: Winding down for the day, 360-361

At the start of 20.4 Doc is introduced to Petunia's husband and another
nuclear family-to-be, Doc confusing reality with "some flashback" (361).

The narrative has been polarised: at one extreme Coy/Hope/Amethyst, at the
other the ersatz Fangers, alternative versions of the nuclear (or
cereal-packet) family (with, we shouldn't forget, Coy/Hope/Amethyst directly
tied to the Preserved on 340-341, just ahead of the Fangers' appearance as
"a nostalgic advertisement" on 349).

Here, on 361, we have another storyline starting independently of Doc, with
Petunia's "nutcase" recalling traditional values, albeit less oppressively
so than the "wholesome" Fangers. Doc is left with "[a]n old routine" shared
with Dr Tubeside, who seems to nag him as, perhaps, Dizzy nags Petunia.
