politics is the art of the possible!

There is much to admire in his speech and much to admire in his accomplishments.

He reminds me of the 2nd guy I hired to clean my sewer pipe back in Kansas.
The first guy gave a few pushes and a rattle or two and called it
fixed.  He couldn't
wait to get out of there.  It was very plugged when he arrived, and
when he left.

The second guy fished and pushed and pulled and took his time.
But he didn't give up, and eventually, without any single dramatic
moment of clearing,
we regained flushability.

I don't agree with all his positions.  But I find it very easy not to
hate him, which is
good enough for now.  I think he's working toward flushability, though
right now it's
hard to point to any progress.

And, I find, I still have a goose bump or two left for the man!
