Angel Angel Down We Go (1969)

CULT OF THE DAMNED (a.k.a. ANGEL, ANGEL DOWN WE GO) 1969
U.S. film. Hollywood, rock and roll and decadence! A rock and roll
group, The Rabbit Habit, (with its Jim Morrison-type lead singer)
creeps into the lives of a wealthy family resulting in seduction, LSD
drug trips, flagellation, kinky sex, Satanism and murder! One of our
favorite lines in the film is during a kissing scene, "Your breath
really stinks…I dig it!" 1960s rock and roll songs include "Angel,
Angel Down We Go," "Mother Lover," "Hey, Hey, Hey" and "Hi Ho." Songs
composed by Brill Building alumni, Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil. Produced
by Jerome F. Katzman, son of legendary movie schlockmeister Sam
Katzman. Jennifer Jones, Jordan Christopher, Roddy McDowall, Holly
Near, Lou Rawls, Charles Aidman, Davey Davison, Marty Brill.
