I'm sure that's the case and knowing David Simon its not unexpected.
But there was a little too much melodrama for my taste in some of the
storylines and the fact of all those guest appearances by celebrities.
shit, there were like 5 every episode. sure you want to give props to
them but it really slowed down the show in many ways. and finally,
being there, listening to some great music and having a great time is
one thing but sitting watching it at home on TV is frankly boring as
hell.

still have hopes for the show
