I like your title. I was also glad to discover the riches of Google Video.
The movie had all the trappings of B matinee movies of the era (the
kind my mother would drop us off to see all Saturday afternoon back in
the early 60's): camera shaking earthquakes w/ falling debris,
speechifying emotional diatribes, over-long build-ups w/ dreadful
"intense" soundtracks. So I wouldn't rate it one of the best-ever
Sci-Fi movies. But the idea of insect "up-lifters" from Mars was
pretty good, especially for back then...
