Is there an expiration date on ideas or theories? Your sentence seems to 
imply that being 158 years old is as damning as simply being wrong is. Of 
course, being 158 years old is no guarantee that an idea or theory is good, 
valuable, helpful, but it certainly is not a worthwhile criterion for 
rejection of ideas or theories.
