Last year I was at a wake with my little sister and we were talking to
a nice stranger. He let slip that he was a neurosurgeon and my sister
said she was a bit embarrassed now that she realised we were in that
kind of company. He took that in a friendly way and I said "well, come
on, you're not a rocket scientist". He pointed at a guy nearby who, it
turned out, was. My sister and I went out to the garden.
