Here I am - (I know you've been wondering) (geez)

Yes,  I'm reading V.   -  And  I'm enjoying the great Pynchonian  
language,  the sentences,  the allusions,  the themes, the ... oh you  
know - everything.   V.  is the only published work of fiction by  
Pynchon I've not read and I've felt soooo guilty for soooo long.    
It's been sitting here on my shelves for years.  I've been afraid of  
it because I'd heard it was quite sexist.  Oh well - I can do sexist.

And I'm trying to keep up with Mark's posts as best I can.  (Thank  
you! - every little bit is helpful!)  Because this is my first reading  
and I'll be going on vacation shortly I'm not going to volunteer for  
any hosting stints.
