Thanks Monte ,
May you outrun the gusty wind that shakes the grasses. What Robin
and the ISB does is too often squeezed out of our world where false
balance sheets and numbers are reckoned real while the cricket
singing stone is forgot.

There Is A Music

There is a music that will melt blood and bone
There is a flood that will wash away the rock of the mind
I have heard it hinted as the wind blew through an herbal portal
I have heard it hissing on the waves of a self-created sea
I have dreamed it in moments of sorrow and hours of joy
I have remembered it in the visions of the lost children of the
slender air
It creaks in the hinges of forgotten doorways
It is played on the harp-haired gods by the fingers of tomorrow
It is held in the ace-flashing hearts of the seeming silent stones
It is cradled, precious, in the water of every blue-bellied lake
Played always, played always, but we hardly hear it
Lost in the pursuit of that which has already snared us
This music, this music
It kills the scaly shell; it blinds the shadow
It is to be found in the stretching out of a hand
Or in the opening of an eye

  Robin Williamson
