I really want to read more about his thoughts, but I didn't
see a conflict:
as it appeared to me,
his gist was getting people involved in processes on a human
level without erecting additional layers of ideology -
the anarchist, rather than building yet another juggernaut
to compete on an ideological playing field (ie, "green" or
"labor" or "feminist", a label that people can unthinkingly dismiss and talk
show hosts can make fun of), enters the existing
"planning" process and influences it by bringing out the
anarchist that lives inside even the mustiest bureaucrat...
maybe this is just what I want to see in it, but it seems
like a way to breed non-confrontational steps toward the
goals of anarchism without forcing the label down people's throats
