The film doesn't, so far as I recall.  Even the brand name has been changed ...

I doubt anybody but the festivals that are showing it are making any
money whatsoever off of this.  Insofar as independent film festivals
make money ...

For the record, I'm not saying, by all means, go, I'm saying, if yr
curious, well, there it is.  That being said, I did not regret
scrambling to Chicago early(I was on my way down anyway, but I would
have made the trip even if I wasn't), shelling out my ten bills,
getting a cup o' coffee, maybe a snack, paying an extra bus fare or
two than I would have, spending an hour and a quarter watching the
film, and, least of all, another half hour or so talking to the
director (a friendly, earnest young man, who almost quite literally
had just finished GR before making his film).  I saw it as
supporting/encouraging a fellow Pynchon/film fan, and am glad to do
him the favor at least of letting y'all know about screenings, so ...

It's not even remotely an attempt @ an adaptation of GR, it's not even
so much a film about GR, so much as a, I don't know, a negotiation
between a reader upon his first reading and the limited resources
(cast, crew, equipment, finances) he could muster to share some of his
impressions/enthusiasm, even, with y'all, so ...

Me, I'm the kind of guy who goes to friends' gigs 'cos their friends
first, so ...
