No Country was a great noir detective story.
For me, Blood Meridian was about a bunch of people and deeds best forgotten.
I didn't finish it. However, I know that Mr Pynchon raved about it,
and if I were in school, I could probably write something about the
Judge vis a vis Vibe.
Based on my reaction to Blood Meridian, I didn't even try Suttree, but
after No Country and The Road, I might give it a shot (in 2011, after
I finish The Kindly Ones...)
