Vibe. Vibe, in particular. and I know folks are gonna drop shit on my head
but the feminist stuff really grates on me. its really cloying in AtD not so
much the sentiment but the execution--its so obvious, platitudes up the
yin-yang. Or maybe its just I can't stand that Yashmeen. Overcomepnsating
for some reason.

I just don't think its Pynchon's strength. he can't write about real people.
why even try? I don't want to read fiction about real people.
i'm working all this stuff out so pardon the poor explanations. more to
