Being a huge Dylan fan, obviously the subject is of interest to me. But it also raises the wider issue of how the media presents its version(s) of reality to us, the audience. If you have first-hand knowledge of something, reading about it in the press can be a sobering experience. What's really interesting is to listen to a tape of a press conference, say, then read half a dosen different newspaper reports on what was said: you are guaranteed to be struck by the extent to which those reports are *interpretations*, often massaged to fit that particular paper and/or reporter's existing viewpoint. This sort of thing gets discussed, a bit, in Part 3.
