Pynchon List Group Reads of non-Pynchon Books

Just about to finish Augie March, and think it's good (not really
heavy), but overly long, IMHO. It's never too slow for me to drop it,
but almost... It is (as the title implies) a self-discovery book told
over a many-years' journey, so the rambling does make a certain amount
of sense.

Humbolt's Gift is much more concise, but a completely different subject.

Maybe a group-read of Augie March would be a bit too heavy for the
list to wade through.
