Pynchon List Group Reads of non-Pynchon Books

I read 2666, and didn't find it boring, but I think it would be a
difficult book to discuss. There is a distinct aloofness to his tone,
and no sense of a resolution that I could see. I do sense that it has
parts that could be "resolved" as in a detective novel (for instance
the identity and history of the mysterious and elusive author), but
I've only read it once. It would require at least another read to try
such a task, and it's a very long book.
