You probably would. I love the way PKD toys with the concept of
identity and self, but the language in some of his more popular stuff
feels a little clumsy and dashed off to me.
In contrast, many fans don't like Valis, Transmigration,m or Divine
Invasion. Instead of spaceships and robots, they get all that
religion. I think the writing is better and more mature. Of course, he
was probably insane by then.
