We seem to have no better intuitive understanding of physics than the
people of Aristotle's time. No need for trippy modern physics since
we don't even have a handle on the old physics. Everything serves as
a metaphor--especially on the P-list. There is enormous resistance to
mathematics here in addition to shining on any understanding of
entropy which does lack an intuitive handle. Only mathematics works
and that may only be because looking at the world through blues
glasses causes the world to look blue. (R W Hamming).
