I think "Entropy" was also reprinted in Nelsen Algren's Own Book of Lonesome Monsters (1963) and in '83 Aloes did a pirate

"Entropy" was, at least, reprinted in a Best American Short Stories of its year collection. Which actually became a mass market paperback edition in those heavenly days. I think Tim Ware, at least, owns the paperback.

It may have been reprinted elsewhere before--and after, for that matter---Slow Learner.

"In Which Esther Gets a Nose Job" , the slightly-different variation of the story was reprinted in an anthology called, I believe, Black Humor of the Sixties.

I suspect that I made that insinuation by posting that all the reprints of Pynchon's early stories were bootlegs. I guess that the much-reprinted [and rather dire] "Entropy" should also be mentioned here.

Of course, "Slow Learner" came out as all the reprints started to turn into bootlegs.

Actually, it was collected in _Stories from Epoch: The First Fifty Issues_ (1966), where it was better edited than in the original. It has also been translated into Hebrew and German--maybe other languages too.
