The Nobel is predicated upon the fashionable political fever that
hits, aka "soup d'jour".  I stopped valuing the award 10 or 15 years
ago.  In order to win it in this day and age you have to be a
"different voice" or plan or even attempt to solve the world's biggest
ill at the moment.
