In misc. reading, I learn that Mario Llosa, early in his writing career
spoke of the multi-layeredness of medieval romances as an influence
on his writing, what he was trying to achieve.

He said the best medieval romances contained the objective and subjective
[POV, I guess he means] and the mythic and the instinctual all at once.

He deplores simple mimesis in literature. Believes literature 'creates its own
world',
yet in the reading we connect it with life, ours and society's.
.....(modernism/postmodernism, wha?, back to the future?)

Adams' Virgin from the ethos of medieval beliefs seems to have been a
major influence on TRP as we have explored a bit.

This is not a syllogism, nor an attempted source-finding in TRP. Just
sayin'..................
