Currently in a re-read of GR...
Woody Allen's 1977 film Annie Hall contains two lines that have me wondering
if he had recently read GR...
in the movie the Allen character attends a Wagner concert and says to Annie
that every time he hears the composer he wants to invade Poland...same exact
line that Gustav says to Saure but in GR it's about Beethoven....also the
term "polymorphically perverse" appears in this same episode in the novel
and is also used by the Allen character in the film...
anybody ever notice this?
useless I know, but kinda neat
cheers
