just bought and read _Freedom_ - almost couldn't take a break to
sleep, was how much I enjoyed it.  Knocked it off in 2 sessions; gives
me hope for tackling _The Kindly Ones_ next year...

Anyway, I'd say, not bad, really not too bad at all.   Different
headspace from Pynchon, but variety is the spice of life.  I liked
that Abigail.
