True story:

Was an on-air host of music programs at KPFA Berkeley. Was in the  
midst of a late-night "New Age" or "Spacemusic" slot, 11 pm to 1 am.  
Was playing Arvo Part's "Cantus in Memory of Benjamin Britten" Got a  
call from this sweet-voiced lady who was melting my ear, loved hearing  
"Cantus" as she was driving through the fog over the Bay Bridge, late  
at night.

Met her a few months later. She was in a discomboobled state. Thanks  
to my high voice and a tendency to play "Woymn's Music" and invoke  
Woman's Spirituality, she assumed I was a Gal.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I mean, other than I'm not.

We eventually married.
