bandwagon at this late date...
more like glimpse the epiphany that drove the movement, feel the
crunch as they piled up on the rocks, and do better with our own
chances
achieve lasting social justice (Vineland; AtD); understand the eternal
feminine (V.); keep your mojo during and after a big war contrary to
what you've been programmed to do and be (GR) --
so Pynchon's heroes, so to say, tried and failed at some things
that're really worth doing and nobody's done successfully yet, heck,
still worth a try...lives have been spent on much less worthy pursuits
without complaint from their pursuers...it is a strange courage you
give me ancient star
