Kind of brings the war back home.
There was, in the 70s and 80s, in our church, a WWI vet. Never really
talked to him much, but he used to stand up on Memorial Day when the
pastor called out conflicts. My grandpa mustered out but the
Armistice came when he was still in training camp.
