Machiavelli: The Prince: Chapter XVIII - 8:44am
The Prince. by Nicolo Machiavelli ... Therefore, it is necessary to be a fox to
discover the snares and a lion to terrify the wolves. ...

The Gaucho, in the wideawake hat---see all the wideawake hats in Against the
Day..
what meanings?..

is the lion in Machiavelli, alluded to here, the man with charisma? therefore
dissed in the sublime anti-charisma rant in GR??.......

The Gaucho ridicules the stupid plan to steal the Birth of Venus pic.
He introduces the concept of a "small bomb".........Anyone who tries to
interfere will be disposed of by force"..............

Discuss?
