actually, I am skeptical of this allegation. on p 27 there is talk of the
boy's name: he was to be named stephen, but Aunt May "peremptorily supplied
the name Wyatt from somewhere in the Gwyon geneaology"

that "somewhere" means it isn't nearby, i.e. dad's name.

so what is Rev Gwyon's christian name? a mystery...
