Steven Moore gives the title as you have it Paul;  I've always
preferred to hear it ambiguously, meaning that I've assumed the title
could be read four different, equally plausible ways.  However, given
Moore's astonishing knowledge of all things Gaddis related, I'd reckon
his (and your) reading is correct.
