I understand AI scientists themselves are concerned about the
possibility of some kind of Transhumanism in which machines will achieve
an Ultraintelligence and eventually wrest control from humans, possibly
ending up swatting us like annoying flies with moral impunity on the
grounds that our inferior brains compared to theirs make us no longer of
any intrinsic value.

What is needed is a system of checks and balances built into the
programs to prevent this eventuality.

But this turns out be a very challenging problem requiring even more
sophisticated AI methods to handle.
