Everybody okay?

The big difference between a little snow in Cali and an earthquake
here in DC is that you can stay home when it snows and there's no
lasting harm done, but the ceiling tiles that were coming down just a
few feet from me at work, the very real structural damage to some
building, and the 15 MPH ride home on the Metro, were unavoidable.
