Clute is famous for his voracious, encyclopedic Harold Bloom-like knowledge of science fiction
(and fantasy offshoot).......

This is a review through books more than from life. (just sayin')

Focus on Moorcock is v. interesting. Moorcock, we remember, published an early
Pynchon story and also liked Against the Day (maybe more than Clute does. Still just sayin')

By the way, I saw in passing during the Texas fires that it had hit a small town where a twitterer
said the Moorcocks lived. Asked any if they were OK...anyone know?
