Pynchon-o-philia

My particular case, as distinct from the P-lit-crit-o-mania, has taken the
form of ordering online,
one after another, any books for which our illustrious leader and ruiner(?)
of lives otherwise well-spent,
has condescended to contribute the so called  "blurbs". Most recently, this
affliction has led me to Hughes Rudd,
whose book, My Escape From the CIA (and Into CBS), has caused me to
joyfully waste several more hours of
my short and precarious existence. I know it's fiction, but I wish they
were real.
